The RSPCA is a leading independent charity dedicated to animal care and protection across Australia. While pet ownership is high, many owners face challenges in maintaining their pets' health, with a significant number of animals struggling with weight and nutrition. Recognising this gap in education and the difficulty in finding local pet services, the RSPCA identified an opportunity to support owners through a dedicated mobile application.

The project involved creating a comprehensive digital hub designed to enhance pet well-being, simplify access to essential services, and promote pet adoption. The design was guided by an extensive user research where insights gathered from interviews and surveys helped define core user needs. This research-led approach informed a high-fidelity prototype featuring an integrated Pet Profile for tracking nutrition and activity, a smart reminders system for essential medical care, and a centralised directory for booking local services.

The result is a helpful digital tool that makes proactive pet care both intuitive and stress-free. By providing clear health guidance and easy access to adoption and support services, the design builds confidence and helps owners provide the best possible life for their pets.
